A total of 257 units were installed, replacing outdated lighting fixtures and incorporating new LED lighting equipped with PIR sensors. This upgrade not only elevated low lux levels but bolstered public safety by illuminating all the critical corners.
Energy Oasis partnered with the project management team and provided a free, no-obligation survey to assess potential energy savings and installation costs. Our collaborative approach allowed us to understand the council's unique needs and tailor a solution that maximised energy efficiency and cost savings.
Our LED lighting installation led to a remarkable 44% reduction in lighting energy consumption, saving Harrogate Borough Council 66,000 kWh annually. This translated to yearly savings of £13,867.46 in energy bills and maintenance costs while also reducing CO2 emissions by 41.3 tonnes.
