Warehouse LED Lighting Energy Efficiency

Intelligent LED Lighting System for Energy Efficiency and Significant Cost Savings

Energy Oasis delivered an innovative lighting solution that significantly reduced costs and increased visibility in a busy warehouse environment. By transitioning from fluorescent to intelligent LED lighting, the client achieved impressive annual energy savings, return on investment (ROI), and made considerable strides in carbon reduction.

Roberts Transport Solutions, a bustling warehouse operation, faced challenges with its existing fluorescent lighting system. High monthly costs, poor visibility, and the inability to keep outside lighting on while loading vehicles at night were impacting efficiency and productivity. They were spending a substantial £13,315.69 per month solely on lighting expenses.

Project Background

We assessed the client's unique needs and operational challenges, focusing on reducing costs and enhancing visibility. Our team proposed the implementation of intelligent LED lighting systems, including controls, to replace the existing 88 fluorescent lights.

Our Approach

We installed 73 intelligent LEDs, replacing the traditional fluorescent lights. The new LEDs, coupled with advanced controls, drastically reduced energy consumption from 63,313 kWh to 10,221 kWh per year.

Our Innovative Solution

The transformation was profound. The client's monthly lighting expenses plummeted to £1,871.94, resulting in an annual financial saving of £11,443.75. The energy savings amounted to 53,091 kWh per year, contributing to an annual CO2 saving of 19.7 tonnes. The project cost was £31,362.38, with an impressive ROI of just 2.74 years.
