Project Highlights from a Decade of Decarbonisation: Celebrating 10 Years of Energy Oasis

Energy Oasis Projects

As we celebrate a decade of intelligent zero-carbon energy solutions at Energy Oasis, we are taking a moment to reflect on some of our most transformative projects. From intelligent LED lighting to innovative microgrids these projects embody our commitment to a sustainable future.

Nippon Express: Holistic Energy Management

Our comprehensive and holistic approach to energy management has been successfully implemented with Nippon Express, a global logistics company. Our services for Nippon spanned our full suite of services from energy reduction and compliance SECR and ESOS reporting to energy contract brokering, energy monitoring, and we recently completed our first solar project with them. A significant milestone was the launch of the first solar project at Castle Donington, marking Nippon's entry into renewable energy.

West Country Parks: Harnessing the Power of the Sun

Our work with West Country Parks demonstrated the remarkable potential of solar power. By achieving a self-consumption rate of 142.95 kW, we significantly reduced the park's reliance on fossil fuels. The transition led to substantial financial savings of £25,587.00 in the first year alone and a significant decrease in carbon footprint. The success of this project led to further solar installations at Edithmead Leisure and Park Homes, Fairways Holiday Park, and Rose Farm, collectively saving an additional 26.69 tonnes of carbon per year.

Thongsbridge Tennis Club: Serving Up Energy Efficiency with LED Lighting

Our LED lighting solutions at Thongsbridge Tennis Club resulted in a 59% reduction in energy consumption, as well as improved lighting quality, enhanced visibility, colour perception, and movement detection, ensuring optimal lighting conditions for tennis players by complying with LTA court standards. This project also led to cost savings of 76%, including previous maintenance costs, and significantly reduced CO2 emissions by 69%, contributing to a more sustainable environment. With an expected ROI in just 4.2 years, this project showcases the long-term value of investing in sustainable solutions.

Yorwaste: Lighting the Way to Sustainability

Our partnership with Yorwaste, North Yorkshire's leading waste management company, transformed their lighting system across multiple waste transfer stations. Our goal was to enhance safety, security, and operational efficiency while minimising light pollution. Through intelligent LED lighting solutions, we achieved a staggering 92% reduction in Yorwaste's energy costs, saving them thousands of pounds annually1. This project, now running successfully for eight years, testifies to the reliability and longevity of our solutions.

Enovert: Navigating Energy Regulations

Our collaboration with Enovert saw us successfully navigate complex energy regulations to achieve ESOS compliance. Our extensive knowledge of Enovert's business operations and energy usage enabled us to meet their deadlines and submit the necessary reporting to the Environment Agency.

Sulzer: Achieving Remarkable Results with LED Lighting

Our work with Sulzer showcased the transformative potential of LED lighting. By implementing our solutions, Sulzer achieved a 78.9% reduction in lighting energy consumption, resulting in annual savings of 224,010 kWh. This translated to reduced energy bills and maintenance costs totalling £21,210.60 per year, demonstrating the significant financial benefits and return on investment.

Looking Ahead

These projects align perfectly with our mission at Energy Oasis - to make a net zero future a practical, cost-efficient reality. Each project reflects our commitment to innovation, collaboration and sustainability.

As we look to the future, we continue to explore new technologies and strategies to further our mission. We are excited about the potential of emerging technologies such as hydrogen fuel cells and microgrids and look forward to leveraging these to further our clients' sustainability goals.

Join us as we continue our journey towards a more sustainable future. Together, let's make the next decade of decarbonisation even more impactful.
